You probably know who mo Farah is… even if you don’t, you would if you were a news anchor, whose job it is to keep up with the news of the day. Or is that too much to ask?
This news anchor clearly didn’t recognize Farah, as she blithely enquired, “Now, haven’t you run before?” Er, yeah, just a little. At the Olympics perhaps!
Even if Mo Farah wasn’t insanely famous after his heroics at the London 2012 Olympic Games, to ask someone who has just broken the course record whether it’s their first time running is blatantly idiotic.
Did she think it was beginner’s luck? That this random guy suddenly decided to have a go at running a half marathon, just in case he’d previously missed his calling in life?
