This video shows very clearly how not to drive in wintry conditions. If there’s snow and ice laying on the ground then drive extremely slowly and extremely carefully. Even better, stay at home instead.
This is the full and unedited footage of a huge pile-up that occurred on Highway 41/45 in Germantown, Wisconsin, on Sunday (Dec. 8).
It shows atrocious conditions, with heavy snow and treacherous ice covering the road. And yet people are speeding along as if the road is clear and the sun is shining.
Five minutes later and 50 cars had crashed, injuring 12 people. Bizarrely many of stranded motorists got out of their cars and stood in the road. No wonder they then got hit.
