Here is something a bit different than the usual X Factor fare I serve up, as we take a look at the reason finalist Emily Nakanda got thrown off the show.
This video shows, in glorious technicolour, the happy slapping Emily gave to an innocent girl who she’d had a disagreement with. It’s pretty brutal and I can see why she had to get the boot.
I actually liked Emily and thought she could have gone all the way, but things like this are bound to come back and bite you on the bum one day, even if that day sees you on the verge of celebrity super stardom.
There’s a bit of a dispute over who actually made the final decision about Emily leaving the show, with both her family and Simon Cowell claiming they had the final say.
Let’s remind ourselves of a better time for Emily as she wowed the judges all the way back on the first episode of this series of The X Factor.
All this proves is that in this day and age with YouTube and the like, potential celebs can’t afford to have any kind of skeletons in their closet, they will be found out sooner or later.
