Oprah had a special with Rihanna last night which shocked many of her fans. Lots of blogs and gossip papers are saying that Rihanna admits that she “still loves Chris Brown” in the interview, but what exactly did she say?
While her definition of “love” is subjective, it’s clear that the woman has an emotional attachment with her former boyfriend and abuser. Having been in a relationship where I was cheated on, it dawned on me how hard it is to let go of someone just because of one mistake.
You end up having to ask yourself if it’s worth it to take that person back- Rihanna is clearly over that point but she suggests her decision was (and is) hard because of the public image she has.
The saddest part of this interview has to be when she said that she is still single and Chris now has a girlfriend. The girl is a damn popstar for god’s sake!
