Cats just can’t seem to help themselves when it comes to chasing birds. They could have all the food they want waiting for them inside, but if see a see a bird, they want it.
It’s the hunting instinct that resides in all cats. But some cats are clearly more skilled at chasing and catching birds than others. This fellow really doesn’t know what he’s doing.
To be fair, it’s more about how smart the crow is than how dumb the cat is. The crow seems to know just how close he can get without being clawed to death.
By the end of what is a highly entertaining encounter, you can’t help feeling a little sorry for the cat. While retaining some respect for that cunning crow.
