Star Trek is back, baby, and it’s a welcome return for this forward-looking, fun, and optimistic science fiction series.
The new series is called Star Trek Discovery, and it’s set somewhere between the events of Star Trek Enterprise and Star Trek: The Original Series.
Star Trek Discovery is garnering some very positive reviews. Not everyone likes every aspect of it, with the Klingons’ new look proving to be particularly contentious.
However, as MovieBob outlines here, Star Trek Discovery gets more right than it gets wrong. And deserves continued viewing as a result.
Unfortunately, at least in the U.S., CBS is forcing Trekkies to subscribe to its streaming service to do so. Which sucks.
