I have my reservations about 300: Rise Of An Empire after watching this trailer. The first movie worked because it was about a small group of soldiers battling against the odds.
This sequel looks to have increased the scale of the battles considerably, which, while impressive to look at, may mean we lose the David vs. Goliath scope of storyline.
I suspect 300: Rise Of An Empire will be style over substance. That isn’t necessarily a bad thing; it certainly hasn’t done the Transformers franchise any harm.
