Arrested Development is back, with the Season 4 trailer having arrived, and the full series making its debut in a couple of weeks.
Thanks to network television deciding ratings were the be-all and end-all, Arrested Development got canned after three seasons. But now it’s back thanks to Netflix.
It has been seven years since Arrested Development shuffled off. What have we had since? Lots of great dramas — Fringe, Mad Men, Breaking Bad — and lots of scripted reality shows that will remain unmentioned because they don’t deserve the publicity.
We need a good comedy show that’s clever as well as laugh out loud funny. Thankfully Arrested Development fills that void, with 13 new episodes available online from May 26. I for one cannot wait.
