Epic Games is the video games developer responsible for Fortnite; that game all of your kids and their friends play endlessly. However, Epic also makes the Unreal Engine.
This is a game engine that studios use to make games, and with the next-gen consoles expected to launch later this year, Epic has revealed Unreal Engine 5.
Epic showed off the capabilities of Unreal Engine 5 with a playable demo running on a PlayStation 5. Which Sony is due to release in time for the 2020 holidays.
So, not only do we get to see what Unreal Engine 5 is capable of, we also get to enjoy a PS5 tech demo. And I for one am impressed.
