Wow, did anybody think to tell these announcers that they are on live TV? I’m surprised that knowing how sensitive the general population is here that there isn’t a line of protesters outside of ESPN headquarters and that this guy hasn’t been place on leave.
Doesn’t that seem how they handle things lately? Nobody can say any off-collared joke without being punished, and I’m wondering if this announcer will suffer the same fate.
Don’t get me wrong, it was such the wrong thing to say, but I’m just using it as a case in point. What’s “kinda gay” to me is that this stupid announcer thinks that a football player in the college level is unaware that he must catch the ball with his hands.
Perhaps this commentator practices playing football in a different way with his kids at home, but I think we all know that football has very little to do with the foot.
