Microsoft has unveiled Windows 10, the replacement to Windows 8 that’s set to be released sometime in 2015.

This video shows Microsoft pin-up boy Joe Belfiore revealing some of the new features in Windows 10, and explaining how interested parties can test an early version in order to help mold the final product.

Calling the new operating system Windows 10 means Microsoft has skipped Windows 9 altogether. This is to signify what a major leap forward this OS is, at least according to Microsoft’s version of events.

Windows 10 sees the Start menu brought back, and most of the clutter that made everybody hate Windows 8 removed. Windows 10 will also work across a range of devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones.
