NASA has produced strong evidence that there is liquid water on Mars. Right now. As we speak. Which massively increases the chances of there being life on Mars.
It has been a full 15 years since NASA first suggested Mars had once flowed with water, and several years since some people started seriously considering the possibility that water still exists.
It has now been revealed that this is true, and that salty, briny water flows down from mountains in a seasonal pattern.
Bacteria, the simplest form of life, needs water to survive, so this discovery means it’s highly likely that something is alive on Mars. Which, if true, could change everything.
