This video shows a scene from Whale Wars in which a whaling boat fires a water cannon at the people trying to stop it in its tracks. they end up doing so using a prop (propeller) fouler.
Season 4 of Whale Wars began airing on Animal Planet earlier this month, and the series once again shows the fight between whaling boats and the activists and authorities determined to stop the practice.
I don’t like seeing any animal harmed, including whales. But I also can’t agree with the manner in which Greenpeace and other take the law into their own hands on this score.
Leave it to the relevant authorities, who will do everything by the book to ensure whalers don’t overdo it. Anything else is surely a form of terrorism.
