Keanu Reeves was in one of the biggest action films of all time when he played Neo in The Matrix trilogy. But since then he has concentrated on different genres.
Now, however, he is back in an action flick, with 47 Ronin due to be released on Christmas Day (Dec. 25).
The forty-seven Ronin are real historical figures, a group of samurai warriors who lived in 18th-century Japan. The film takes the legend and builds a fictional story around it.
Reeves plays Kai a Japanese-British outcast who joins the 47 Ronin to avenge the death of their master. They all embark on a perilous journey to find and kill Lord Kira.
This video shows the trailer for 47 Ronin, and I suspect by the end of it you’ll know whether you want to see the whole film or not.
