Fans of the Fallout games, which are part RPG, part action-adventure, part shoot ’em up, are likely to be beside themselves that a new game is incoming. Its name is Fallout: New Vegas.
Fallout: New Vegas is the new title in the popular Fallout series of video games. It’s a direct sequel to Fallout 3, although no characters from the previous game appear in the new one.
Most of the reviews of the game, which is out today in the U.S., are positive, with many reviewers stating it’s superior to its predecessor Fallout 3. Although these is mixed opinion on the Wild West setting, with Red Dead Redemption having already been there and done that.
Fallout: New Vegas looks great and bags of fun to play, but as I’ve yet to play Fallout 3 I think I’ll give it a miss.
