Most of us only ever know how a handful of the population live on a day-to-day basis. Ourselves, our significant others, our family, and our friends.
But what about the rest of the population? This video shows a day in the life of America, with 1,000 Americans movements over the course of 24 hours tracked by the minute.
This data was taken from the American Time Use Survey from 2014, in which people were asked to log what they did over the course of 24 hours.
Assuming that these 1,000 people are representative of the population, this video provides a fascinating glimpse at how we as a species live our lives.
