This video is a clip from Australia’s Funniest Home Videos, and that’s the caption which comes up at the beginning. So I was sat there expecting to laugh my head off at some kid shitting himself on a rollercoaster.
In fact I spent the duration of the video scared for him. Call me sensitive but the fact was he could have fallen out, and even though he didn’t he was still in obvious pain.
And while he was sat there almost slipping out of the safety harness and fearing for his life, his mum (I assume) was sat next to him laughing her head off as if all was well with the world. Good parenting there love!
I’ve been on rollercoasters where I have feared for my safety and just wanted to get off the ride, so have lots of sympathy for the kid.
The woman in the clip should be ashamed of herself, and the people operating the ride should review their safety measures, imagine the mess if he had actually slipped and fallen out. That would have been one giant splat on the ground.
