Tomorrow Rihanna will appear on 20/20 to give her full story about the Chris Brown assault incident that occurred earlier this year. If you ask me, the timing couldn’t be better- it gives a whole new meaning to Brown’s crappy “I Can Transform Ya” song.

It always surprises me when celebrities comment about not realizing their impact on their fanbase. After all, Rihanna is more of a brand name than ever. The downside with this, as she states, is that she is “human” just like the fans that look up to her.

Why break the silence now? Some are dismissing this is merely a publicity stunt to gather hype for her new album, but I’d have to disagree completely. Have you ever seen the singer more serious than in this interview?
