With as many videos out there as there are idiots who hit cars and people alike parked on the sides of roads, is it really uncalled for to have a Firetruck provide a safety cushion for firefighters rescuing a person in a car accident on the freeway?
Well, this ego-riding cop certainly thought they were out of their limits by blocking the traffic in an extra lane to prevent any further accidents, and flexed his power muscles by arresting the firefighter who didn’t bend over to his demands.
Apparently it was more important to this cop that he was right and could prove his point than to ensure fire rescuers and victim safety. But the jury at court thought differently.
They slapped him with a $18,000 fine, only holding back because he had a family and wasn’t sure if he would get assistance in paying the fine. Maybe next time he’ll let rescuers and firefighters do there jobs without inserting his big ego.
