This is the new trailer for Terminator Genisys, the horribly named prequel/sequel/reboot of the long-running Terminator franchise.
The storyline has already caused controversy, because it somewhat contradicts what happened in the first two movies. But, just like Doctor Who, they get away with it thanks to the quirky nature of time travel.
This means they could carry this charade on indefinitely, sending robots back to kill John Connor’s grandmother, great-great-grandfather, etc. I hope they don’t do that though.
I personally think this looks good, with a stellar cast, and plenty of twists and turns. Just ignore the plot-holes and enjoy the ridiculous on-screen action.
