The vast majority of people now realize how serious COVID-19 is, and how many people would have died without some form of lockdown and social distancing.
However, in the early days of the crisis, many on the right of politics rallied against what they saw as an overreaction to something that’s “no worse than the flu”.
This video shows some of the worst examples of that wrong-headedness from Fox and Friends. Which just happens to be Donald Trump’s favorite TV show.
Sadly, the US looks to be the country with the most deaths from COVID-19. And Trump and his media acolytes have to accept some of the responsibility for that.
