Fox News is notoriously biased in favor of the Republican party in America, with the channel full of right wing loudmouths such as Bill O’Reilly.
However, they’re not averse to turning on their own, especially when someone needs to be blamed for the drubbing John McCain was given by Barack Obama in the 2008 U.S. Presidential election.
Their scapegoat? Sarah Palin.
McCain’s aides have apparently told Fox News about some of the stupid comments and behavior exhibited by Palin during the campaign, including the fact that she didn’t know that Africa was a continent.
Palin is being glorified as the future of the Republican party but everyone I’ve spoken to thinks she was the main reason Obama swept to such a massive victory.
If the Republicans do decide to make her the 2012 challenger to Obama’s presidency then I fear they’ve gone a bit mad. She has less chance of entering the White House than I do, and I’m not even a U.S. citizen.
