The Academy Awards are almost here, which means hours of disingenuous acceptance speeches, fake smiles, and much needless thanking of people no one has ever heard of.
This video is a public service announcement aimed at the nominees, with celebrities offering some advice on how to gratefully and gracefully accept an Oscar win.
OK, so there aren’t actually any celebrities involved. Instead, Piotr Michael gives us his best impressions of various actors and actresses.
He’s extremely good as well, nailing such recognizable voices as Ian McKellen, Liam Neeson, Jeff Bridges, Chris O’Dowd and even Dame Maggie Smith.
Let’s just hope his advice is heeded by the real nominees.
