Google has revealed Android 8.0. Codenamed Android O for months, the O actually stands for Oreo. Yes, that’s the cream-filled cookie.
Google names all the various versions of its mobile operating system after sweet treats. Such as KitKat, Lollipop, Marshmallow, and Nougat.
Android Oreo isn’t the biggest update ever. However, Google has added various features and made significant improvements to Android.
The big problem with Android is that most people won’t get hold of the latest version unless and until they purchase a new handset.
However, if you own a Nexus or Pixel device then you shouldn’t have to wait more than a few months to get your hands on Android Oreo.
