Funny Calling Card Protects Baby Mamas Video | How Racist Is This TV Commercial?

37 sec read

If racial stereotypes are in commercials at all, they’re usually suttle. This ad, on the other hand, is obvious beyond belief.

Believe it or not, DramaTEL is a calling card that markets itself to protect both cheaters and baby mamas.

DramaTEL markets itself as “the almost illegal calling card” because it can change your outgoing caller ID into anything you want. Since this tactic is used by law enforcement, the company supposedly had to win a legal battle with the US Senate to keep the product alive.

I’m not sure what’s more ridiculous, the stereotypical “cheating thug” and “baby mama” scenario or winning a legal battle with the Senate. Likewise, when “Don’t Hate The Player” popped up on the screen I had a hard time believing this wasn’t a MADtv skit.

Official Features:

In case you still have your doubts, here’s a list of features from the official DramaTEL website:

  • 1. Catch a cheating spouse/boyfriend/girlfriend
  • 2. Fool those who attempt to avoid your calls
  • 3. Trick your spouse into believing you’re home when you’re not
