If he was still alive, Dr. Seuss, AKA Theodor Geisel, would have turned 111 yesterday (March 2, 2015). Unfortunately, Seuss died in 1991 at the age of 87.
Still, it’s never too late to celebrate and commemorate the life of someone who, whilst alive, gave so much to the world.
Seuss is the author of numerous children’s books, including Green Eggs and Ham, The Cat in the Hat, The Lorax, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas! Many of which have been turned into movies.
This video shows what might have happened had Dr Seuss and William Shakespeare gone head-to-head in a rap battle. I think Seuss won by virtue of having his characters rap in his stead.
