Los Angeles woke to a mild earthquake on Monday (March 17). With a magnitude of 4.4 this wasn’t much to write home about, but that didn’t stop one news anchor from making a fool of himself.
As soon as the quake hit this guy dove under the desk, closely followed by his co-anchor. Another person, sitting to their right, bolted immediately.
We shouldn’t laugh at this guy’s reaction. He was obviously shocked and scared, and did exactly what he was taught to do at school in the event of an earthquake.
Having experienced a mild earthquake myself in the UK a few years ago, I know that however mild they may be they’re also extremely disconcerting.
Still, this is kinda funny.
