Ok, I don’t know what it is that makes me like this video, but I did get a chuckle out of it.
If you haven’t checked out Google Earth yet, you’ve got to. It’s a free download, I do believe, and it allows you to get a really close satellite image of anywhere, any street, or even any forest in the world.
I could even see the foundation of my house on this thing! Kind of a spooky big brother feeling, isn’t it? This video spoofs this very type of enthusiasm I just expressed – but zooms us in a little bit too much this time.
Certainly, when you check this Google Earth thing out and see just what it is capable of, it makes you think twice when you go outside in your pajamas, or run out to grab the paper in your robes. Is it possible to get caught in one of these images as they are updated to the satellite? Creepy.
