Who needs to search the Web with their fingers and eyes when they can search with their noses instead? Google Nose brings smells to the Internet, with your olfactory glands being artificially stimulated.
It’s currently only in beta, and may only stick around for the rest of today (April 1).
If you hadn’t already guessed Google Nose isn’t actually real, instead being one of Google’s legendary April Fool’s Day jokes.
It suggests that you can search for things using Google Nose and then smell the results, including “wet dog” and “new car.” How I wish this were actually a real thing. But alas, it remains stuck in science fiction.
