The phone hacking scandal at News International continues on, with people resigning and calls for a political investigation, despite attempts by Fox News to get us all to forget about it and move on swiftly.
But wait, what about a movie version of the dramatic events?
This may only be a spoof, and one which exists really only to make jokes about who would play who in this film. But the strange thing is it would actually make a pretty decent movie.
I’m actually bored of hearing and reading about this scandal, and I wish Rupert Murdoch and his company would get the hell out of the U.K. But before they go we do need to hear all the facts.
And then some talented writer (possibly one who worked at the News Of The World before getting fired) could pen a screenplay based on the whole sorry mess. I’m thinking a cross between The King’s Speech and The Social Network.
