Websites, like people, have their own distinct personalities. Social media sites in particular are very easy to tell apart. Facebook is very different from Twitter, and Tumblr certainly isn’t Google+. Etc.
Which explains why this video works so very well. With Emma Blackery taking on the roles of the various social media sites and seeing whether they’d make good dates.
Blackery has these sites down to a tee. She zeroes in on the most annoying aspects of each one, whether it’s people constantly being offended on Twitter or Google+ feeling sorry for itself.
All things considered, I would probably date Facebook. Yeah, the constant poking would get annoying, but that’s better than the alternatives.
