IHOP, or International House of Pancakes, is trying to move beyond breakfast. And it’s big idea is to start selling burgers.
In order to promote its new range of burgers, IHOP suggested it was changing its name to IHOB, but the whole thing was just a publicity stunt.
This video shows one woman ranting about the stunt, which she just thinks is really dumb. And I must admit it does come across as being a little desperate.
The big problem for IHOP is that there are already so many burger joints, many of which have brand recognition around the world. And that’s going to be tough to beat.
