As any of you who follow the technology industry may be aware, Apple has boo-booed with its new Maps app in iOS 6. Because it’s crap, basically.
Still, Apple is well known for coming clean and admitting its mistakes when they occur. So this video shows iOS 6 Maps team leader Jackson Seepage offering an explanation of what went wrong.
OK, so it may not be real, though I can’t be alone in wishing there was someone at Apple named Jackson Seepage. Oh, and that iOS 6 Maps was so advanced it sometimes showed different dimensions.
This is a spoof, and sadly Apple hasn’t offered any kind of real explanation for why iOS 6 Maps sucks. It just does. Not that you’d have noticed from the impeccable demo used on stage.
