This may be the shortest video ever posted to WebTVHub, but it deserves its place thanks to being the genesis of a brilliant meme which is only good for one day of the year.
‘It’s Gonna Be May’ is the name of a meme that has been around on the Internetz for a few years. The meme takes Justin Timberlake’s slight speech impediment and does wonderful things with it.
In the Nsync song ‘It’s Gonna Be Me’, Timberlake has a strange way of saying the titular line. It sounds like he is saying, “It’s Gonna Be May.”
And lo, a decade later this turned into a meme that can be shared and spread on April 30. So it’s too late now, at least until next year.
