John Oliver and Alex Jones are pretty much on the opposite sides of, well, everything. Oliver is a left-wing liberal media type, while Jones is a right-wing conspiracy theorist.
With that in mind you should watch Oliver ripping Jones apart on Last Week Tonight. Mainly over Jones’ efforts to sell his viewers products they don’t need.
I actually don’t like either of these guys. I find Oliver really patronizing and annoying, and think Jones is one sandwich short of a picnic.
However, on this occasion I have to side with Oliver. Jones talks utter bullshine, and his gullible viewers lap it up as if it’s all the gospel truth.
