In case you hadn’t noticed already it’s Thanksgiving Day today. Which means that, in the U.S. at least, people will be feasting on food until their bellies cannot take it anymore.
We all know what kinds of food people eat over Thanksgiving weekend these days… turkey, mac and cheese, and devilled eggs. But what dishes did people eat at Thanksgiving in the past?
This video explores that topic, with adventurous kids trying out the kinds of food people have eaten over the past 100 years.
Some of the dishes look delicious, but others are something I wouldn’t even feed to the homeless dogs in my neighborhood. No wonder these kids have such extreme reactions to what’s on offer.
