When one thinks of Kirsten Dunst when she was a budding actress one expects a nice, well-mannered girl. But according to this home video, Kirsten has been a little rebel since she was a tween.
This is a video taken by Kirsten’s parents to prep her before a TV interview. Of course, she has to lie about half the stuff they ask her. And of course, she hates it.
I know this video must be ancient (90s era) because of the tape lines and the old movie references, but one comment was so prophetic it’s scary. When asked what it was like working with Tom Cruise, she replied in a sassy tone “Uh, I thought he was kinda weird.”
The rest of the prep interview doesn’t get any better. Kirsten interjects enough “This is so stupid!” comments until her parents finally have enough. At the end and the mother just snaps. “I am not going to walk around at Wal-Mart for shopping!” she scolds.
And then they give her a time-out.
