Love the Coopers is a new movie which works along the same lines as countless movies that have come before it. That being a dysfunctional family coming together to celebrate Christmas.
Does Love the Coopers achieve something above and beyond what all of those other similar films have over the years? Let’s see what the “What The Flick?!” crew have to say about it all.
They’re not exactly enamored with this film. There are some good parts of Love the Coopers, most of which involve Olivia Wilde, but in the main it’s disappointingly underwritten and over-narrated.
This is one of those films that I would never go to see in a theater. However, if it’s on TV on Christmas Eve next year then it’s surely worth watching.
