I’m not really a fan of pranks, certainly if they’re played on me. Still, a funny prank played on strangers in the street just occasionally makes me chuckle, and this one featuring a scary talking mattress did just that.
However, so much could have gone wrong…
My concern is always that these pranks will go too far or that someone will end up getting seriously hurt. The prankster got elbowed in the face on this occasion, but someone could instinctively react in an even more violent manner in the future.
And then there are the people being pranked. What if one of the older people had a heart attack as a direct result of this? And all for a few cheap laughs.
