Meat Loaf is a Republican and has endorsed Mitt Romney for President. As is his right as a U.S. citizen. However, I’m not sure him singing is going to help Romney get elected.
This video shows Romney on stage somewhere with random musicians surrounding him. To be honest the only one I recognize is Meat Loaf. Unfortunately Meat Loaf cannot really sing any more.
He massacres America The Beautiful. I mean, I think he was trying to put a comical spin on it, but the end result is just embarrassing. And this sort of political rally is why the rest of the world often looks at the U.S. bemused.
America The Beautiful is a horrific song anyway. In fact it’s almost as bad as God Save The Queen, as both songs are full of nationalistic, imperialistic nonsense.
