E3 2012 recently came to an end, and to celebrate some far more creative people than myself decided to re-imagine Super Mario Bros. to better suit modern sensibilities.
Mario has essentially become less cute and cuddly and more of a killing machine. What’s funny is that this would be what was actually happening in the game, it’s just that Nintendo censors out all the blood and gore.
Before anyone gets the wrong idea this isn’t an actual game announced at E3 2012. But am I the only one who wishes it was a real game? I’d play it in a heartbeat.
The animation is superb and the ending very fitting. Goodbye Mario, you had an awesome run. Literally.
