Rupert Murdoch and his son James were in the Houses of Parliament yesterday giving evidence to MPs about how the News Of The World hacked into people mobile phones for years in order to get stories and sell newspapers.
When Rupert Murdoch got a little bit of a surprise in the form of a pie in the face.
There are a lot of people who would say Rupert Murdoch deserved a lot more than a pie in the face for his part in the phone hacking scandal. It could certainly have been much worse.
All this guy did was push a pie in Murdoch’s face, and for that he was arrested and charged with some criminal misdemeanor. But, come on now, it was only a pie!
If this is the extent of Murdoch’s punishment over this scandal then it’s shameful, but at least we all got to have a laugh at his expense.
