You’ve got to love old people. Especially as they’re our parents and grandparents, depending on how old you are.
However, old people generally seem to lose track of who and what they should trust. So they’ll rally against politicians and bankers, but hand over money to scammers.
This video nails the phenomenon, showing how a senior citizen will demonstrate a lot of trust issues, but then click on an email that is clearly dodgy.
All we can do is try to educate and inform old people about the new scammers. Sure, it used to be door-to-door salesmen, but now it’s robocalls and spam emails.
