Ray Romano, you know, the guy from Everybody Loves Raymond, wants his son to get a girlfriend. And so he pimped Matt Romano out on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
Matt works on the show, and Ray was on as a guest. So Ray brought Matt out on stage in order to embarrass him.
Of course this whole thing was pre-planned. It’s American television, which is pretty much all scripted, even when it’s made to look like it’s being improvised on the spot.
You can tell because the phone number appeared on screen almost immediately. So, this was a skit rather than anything organic, but it still could lead to Matt Romano getting a girlfriend.
