There was a time when I watched Ren and Stimpy every chance I got. Heck, I probably still would if I could catch it on TV more often. Some think it’s just another weird and gross cartoon, but bits like the one above are rarely seen elsewhere.
If you have kids, you know how they react to toy commercials. Advertisers make every toy look like the greatest thing since sliced bread, even if it’s really just a useless piece of crap. It’s quite effective, because kids clamor for the stuff until parents give in and buy them what they want.
This fictional commercial for Log is not for something educational like Lincoln Logs. It’s for a plain old wood log. But it makes it look like the most wonderful thing a kid could have. It’s a classic as far as I’m concerned.
