The Internet in 2013 is awesome in every way. The Internet in 1997? Well, that wasn’t quite as good. Still, we knew no better back then.
This video is titled The Kids’ Guide To The Internet, and it’s a full PSA from the time featuring kids showing other kids how to use the Internet.
It’s a hilarious video to watch, but only in light of what happened to the Web in the years after it was made. Oh, and for the annoying and their stupid lingo. And the total lack of references to pornography.
It’s easy to laugh now but we genuinely thought the Internet was amazing back then. And I suspect in the future people will laugh at us for loving the Internet as it exists right now.
