There are plenty of cutesy animated features released every year, but Sausage Party does something a little different with the genre. Namely, adult humor.
Sausage Party tells the tale of the everyday food we humans eat. Except that each piece of food has a face, a voice, and a personality. And they find out we humans are essentially psychopathic murderers, at least from their perspective.
It’s a great idea for a film, and the trailer likely contains more laughs than the whole of the new Ghostbusters movie. So, yeah, I’m in.
