To be fair, while Pizza Hut is co-opting this trend for its own benefit, the company does have a point. Selfie sticks are dangerous, and they’re also dumb.
The people who use selfie sticks are narcissistic fools who need to get a grip on something other than the stupid selfie sticks they carry around with them at all times. Just in case.
Having said that, I bought my niece one for Christmas. Yes, that makes me an enabler, but what the hell, teenagers are allowed to be dumb. In fact, it’s almost obligatory.
