The People’s Court isn’t just an online video debate site. It’s also a Judge Judy-like TV show where the occasional ‘cops and donuts joke’ cracks up an entire court room.
Oh yeah, even the cop laughs!
I’m not exactly sure what has happened to the lady in this video, but I do know that it has something to do with fifteen cops surrounding her at gunpoint. When the surprised judge asks her if she knew any of the cops she replies, “Yeah I did, ‘cuz I worked at a Dunkin’ Donuts up the street!”
Instantly the room is flooded with laughter. Everyone from the jury to the judge just can’t help it. The best part is when the narrator at the end provides a classic definition of a donut shop: “It’s where white powder is a good thing for law enforcement.”
