The Sims 4 has been announced, finally. A new version of the best-selling series has been expected for forever, and EA and Maxis have finally seen fit to confirm its existence.
This video isn’t an official trailer, because one doesn’t exist at the time of writing. It is instead some guy talking about the future game and revealing everything he knows about it.
The biggest news is that The Sims 4 will be available to play offline, which should prevent it suffering a similar fate as the latest SimCity, which sucked thanks to the need to always be online while playing.
The Sims 4 will be released on PC and Mac in 2014, though no further details have yet been revealed.
